Ding How Chinese Restaurant is a chinese restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. It is listed at 4531 Northwest Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78229, which places it among the local businesses of San Antonio that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (210) 340-7944. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dinghowsa.com.

San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Antonio follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Alright so you ever see Big Trouble In Little China? This San Antonio Gem is like that in the very best way. Fun, charming, warm are simply the beginning of this wholesome, wonderful restaurant. Come here with family, or friends or both. Our time here on this big, beautiful Rock are so limited, We forget that. Spend a good few of the precious few moments you'll spend running around our Sun in Ding How. You'll thank me. Anyway, when I was a kid someone told me that Ding How means the best, and in more than a quarter century the food, staff, and general atmosphere have never given me a reason- large or small- to argue that point. So to me Ding How really does mean "The Best", and I really hope that you'll agree when you give them a very well earned shot.

Really wanted to like this place because of how cute it is they have a fish pond by the entrance. The first time I Ding how was seven years ago and I remember liking it, but never went back until a couple weeks ago. I was trying to have my rice swapped for noodles, but unfortunately the server said that was not possible so I had to pay for them separately which I did. All I wanted was beef and broccoli with noodles and orange chicken with rice. The point is that I ended up paying over $50 for takeout she asked for my number and said I would be called in about 30 minutes. I never received a call so I just showed up and turns out my food had been sitting there for almost an hour. (I saw the time on the receipt.) even though the workers were kind and quick I still was disappointed with the prices & not being able to substitute and of course the food did not taste as good as it once did, egg drop and sweet-and-sour pretty much taste it like smoke I don’t know how to explain it other than that. Chicken was hard beef and broccoli did not taste like beef and broccoli. The only thing I liked were the egg rolls. :( disappointed because food was not as good as it looked. Oh, and they also fo

Everything was pretty delicious. I did give all five stars on everything even though our food was slightly cold. The staff was working very quickly and the place was so busy for Monday afternoon. The general chicken was more on the sweeter side, but the portion was dinner size and it was huge! Enjoy that it came with cabbage instead of broccoli. The Szechuan beef stirfry was very flavorful. Sweet and sour pork was delicious of course. The egg rolls are stuffed full of cabbage and huge. The only thing that I was missing for mine was spicy mustard, my mistake for missing that one. Everyone seemed very helpful.

Ordered 4 plates of food for 3 people, since for whatever reason they don’t let you sub rice for lo mien with an up charge. Regardless, the food was NOT great at all, very bland flavorless taste. I ordered the sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken & vegetables, and chicken lo mien, and all 4 were a miss. Although it’s a nice place, with nice staff, the food is definitely not worth the cost, 1st time there, last time as well. Of the 4 plates, the lo mien was the best tasting, but still not worth the cost, and the steamed rice was mashy. Sometimes food is better when you sit in the restaurant, but I took this to go, only to be disappointed when I got home. Anyhow, this food is mediocre, at best, but definitely not worth the cost.
